Job description
- Responsible for Project Planning, executing, controlling, closure of projects, creation of teams, and cost-effective project delivery.
- Managing team of Developers/Designers/Testers. Leading and driving the team for better performance, performing Resource Planning & utilization (allocation/release, ramp up/ramp down), Capacity Planning (effort management), Performance Management (review / Appraisals) and using management tools.
- Managing projects in fast-paced agile ecosystem and ensuring quality deliverables within stringent timelines
- Expert in Git.
- Responsible for Risk Management, maintaining the Risk documentation and mitigations plan.
- Client management, Effective communication to identify customer needs and evaluate the alternative business solution, managing day to day customer interaction (driving Projects status meetings with customer and multiple stakeholders of the projects), built a trust by delivering a quality product towards client needs and expectations in timely manner and have been receiving further businesses/project extensions without any bidding process.
- Collaboration Management across the department to broadening the skills and cross functional delivery management.
- Responsible for architecture design and review.
- Publishing project metrics dashboard to internal and external stakeholder
- Own and enforce high quality development practices and procedures, as well as maintaining secure coding standards, through the adoption of test-driven development (TDD), paired programming, peer code reviews, and software build automation.
- Provide oversight and guidance to team members during regular technical activities within an Agile environment: including (but not limited to) code reviews, estimating, technical solution design & architecture, testing.
- Drive continuous improvement in a Lean/Agile environment, implementing DevOps delivery approaches encompassing CI/CD, build automation and deployments.
- Acts as the development team’s escalation point to other IT functions, as well as to internal business partners and external vendors as necessary.
- Effectively communicate
- Accelerate customer Business Transformation by leveraging customer needs and technical Innovations.
- Able to establish standard development practices and processes. Involvement in project planning -forecast, monitor, and review all project aspects along with costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk.
- Optimize customer releases based on user experience program
- Able to Motivate team player with ability to work under minimal supervision following Servant- Leadership Model.
- Easily grasp the new technologies and updated as well.
- Hands-on in scrum methodology (Sprint planning, execution and retrospection).
Role Description:
- Technical exposure to any one of the technology domain – .Net / Java / Product implementation
- Delivered minimum 3 projects in an integrated environment as Project Manager
- Good exposure to customer facing roles in implementation, Roll Out and Support Engagements.
- 3-5 years of experience in IBM Maximo Project Management
- At least 3 years of strong experience in working of IBM Maximo implementations and upgrade Projects
- At least 1-2 full cycle implementations of IBM Maximo EAM, with hands on experience on functionalities including requirement gathering, design, development, testing & training, deployment, hyper care support.
- Should have good understanding and hands on experience & Functional understanding of EAM modules such as Asset management, contract management, Procurement processes, Work Request, Work Order, Planning and Scheduling. Inventory Management, workflow management, configuration management.
- Exposure to in Data Migration and ETL tools
- Should be able to interact with customer business/IT teams & convey the solution.
- Should have experience in performing as-is assessments & suggest to-be processes/functionality.
- Should be able to guide technical team for components within the Financials scope.
- Good communication & articulation skills.
- Experience to guide/mentor delivery teams with artefacts/tools/accelerators.
- Utility knowledge: Knowledge of the utilities market and widely used applications such as Maximo, Oracle EBS would be a definite advantage.
- Development: Ability to lead a development. Exposure to Scrum and SAFe approaches would be an advantage
- Cloud platforms: Experience of AWS
- DevOps: Exposure to Devops
- Minimum 3 years of Project or Program Management skills with overall experience of minimum 10 years
